Originally from the beautiful Cotswolds, Sarah has called Wiltshire home for the past 20 years. She studied Agriculture at university, specialising in Crop Science, and spent 14 years in the corporate world before circling back to her true passion — flora!

Wanting to spend more time with her family, Sarah opened Pod & Pip, a florist based in Stratford Tony (just outside Salisbury). She spotted an opportunity to expand into homeware add-ons like vases and gift cards — and the rest, as they say, is history.

Today, Pod & Pip sells a hand picked selection of homewares and gardening essentials from flowers and candles to shoes, clothing, and gifts. Sarah also runs Pod & Pip Knitwear, a capsule collection made in England using high-quality materials. The range includes timeless shirts, accessories, and pieces for both men and women.

“Our best sellers are candles, cards and clothing. It entirely depends on the season, but Merry People boots are flying off the shelves right now!”

Sarah is very active on Instagram (@podandpip), where her reels showcasing the beautiful items in-store inspire many customers to visit or place an online order.

Alongside her black lab Minnie, Sarah has a brilliant team around her — Laura, Jenny, Tessa, and Mandy — who each bring something special to the shop. Laura handles the merchandising and overall creative feel; with experience at big names like Cath Kidston, Harrods, and Liberty, she’s a real expert in her field. Jenny, bubbly and full of energy, looks after the clothing side, having spent over ten years at Phase Eight. Tessa pops in to lend a hand, while Mandy helps in the shop with some styling and modelling!

“The shop wouldn’t be what it is without all these amazing ladies!”

Independent businesses like Pod & Pip are what give Wilton Village its soul. It’s the passion behind the counter, the creative spark that keeps things fresh, and the familiar faces that make people want to come back. Sarah has brought all of that and more to the site, along with a wonderful community of customers who follow her wherever she goes. We’re so grateful for her energy, ideas and the role she plays in helping Wilton Village grow into something truly special.

About Chris — the heart (and hands) behind the restoration of Wilton Village.

When he re-acquired what was once known as both Wilton Shopping Village and The Guild back in January 2025, he threw himself into the project — time, energy, passion and all. His goal was to bring the site back to life and create something the whole community can be proud of: a vibrant, welcoming place to shop, eat, and spend time — one that’ll never lose it’s charm.
