The Cacao Grove
Tucked away in the historic courtyard of Wilton Village, just out of the sunshine (perfect for a chocolate shop), you’ll find Cacao Grove, the village’s newest addition. Jane, the founder, set up the shop with a very clear mission: to bring a little bit of luxury and quality to the area. She wanted people to be able to enjoy the same kind of chocolate and speciality treats that you’d expect to find in bigger cities like Bath or London — right here in Wiltshire.
Inside the shop, you’ll discover a carefully curated selection of chocolates, truffles, teas, coffees, and a small range of fresh produce. The chocolates are of particular note — these are the same high-quality chocolates used by Fortnum & Mason, so you know you’re getting the very best. Jane is incredibly passionate about the chocolate industry, and ethics and sustainability are central to what she does. Everything she sources is fair-trade and responsibly produced, so you can indulge without worrying.
Jane’s vision goes beyond just selling chocolates. She wants Cacao Grove to be a place that inspires people to appreciate high-quality products, learn a little more about the world of chocolate, and feel part of something special in the village. She’s always looking to expand her knowledge and explore new ideas for the shop. Next year, for example, Jane wants to introduce hot drinks like luxury hot chocolate during the winter months and local, high-quality ice creams in the summer — making the shop a treat for all seasons.
Cacao Grove also adds a unique charm to the historic courtyard. Its location is quiet and tucked away, providing a little haven for anyone looking to enjoy some indulgence in a relaxed, friendly environment. It’s exactly the kind of independent business that gives Wilton Village its soul — combining passion, expertise, and a focus on quality with a genuine love for the community.
Whether you’re after a special gift, a little treat for yourself, or just want to explore some of the best chocolates around, Cacao Grove is well worth a visit. Jane’s enthusiasm and dedication shine through in every product she sells, and she’s already adding a new layer of charm and quality to Wilton Village.
